1. About these terms

JobersBD (jobersbd.com) is an online hiring platform with its office at Kader Tower (6th Floor), Jubilee Road, Tin Pooler Matha, Kotwali, Chattogram, Bangladesh. In these terms, “we” means JobersBD and “you” means anyone using the site: job seekers, recruiters and visitors.

How we use your information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Please read both together.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Use your real name, mobile number and email. One person, one account.
Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
If you think someone else has used your account, change your password straight away and tell us.

3. For job seekers

Keep your profile, CV, certificates and Video CV truthful. Don’t use someone else’s details or fake certificates.
Your Video CV must show you, and be professional and appropriate.
You own your content. You allow us to show your profile to verified companies, according to your privacy settings.
You decide which companies get your phone number, email and CV.

4. For recruiters and companies

Only register on behalf of a genuine, active organisation, with accurate company details and a valid trade licence. Candidate search opens after we verify you.
Use candidates’ information only for hiring. Don’t sell it, share it, use it for marketing, or copy it into another database.
Never ask a candidate for money, a fee or a deposit in exchange for a job.
Describe the job truthfully in contact requests. If a candidate says no, don’t keep contacting them.
If you change the company name or trade licence, the account is checked again.

5. Fees and payments

Job seekers and companies use the same plans (1, 6 or 12 months). A job seeker’s profile appears in company searches only while their plan is active; the profile can be built and edited without one. A company can search and contact candidates while its plan is active, and can buy a plan once it is verified.

Payment is by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or Upay, as a Cash Out to our agent number (the Cash Out charge is yours). The plan starts once our team has matched the receipt you give us. If a plan is still running, the new time is added after it. When a plan ends, a job seeker’s profile leaves search (it isn’t deleted) and a company’s search and new requests pause; contact details already shared stay. Submitting a fake or someone else’s receipt can get the account closed.

If prices change, we’ll announce it on the site first. A plan you’ve already paid for keeps its price until it ends.

If anyone asks you for money for a job in JobersBD’s name, it is not from us. Please tell us.

6. Referral bonus

Job seekers can invite friends with their own referral link or code. When an invited friend joins as a job seeker and buys their first plan, the person who invited them earns a ৳10 bonus, once per friend. To receive it, the inviter needs an active plan too; otherwise the bonus waits and is added once they get one.

The bonus can be taken off the price of your next plan, or cashed out to a mobile wallet from ৳100 (usually sent within 2–3 working days). If the friend’s payment is refunded, the bonus is cancelled too.

Earning bonuses through your own extra accounts or fake accounts is not allowed; such bonuses are cancelled and the account may be closed. We may change these rules; bonuses already earned stay yours.

7. What’s not allowed

Fake profiles, fake companies or fake job offers.
Harassment, threats, or discriminatory or indecent content and messages.
Copying profiles with automated tools (scraping), trying to break into the site, or uploading harmful files.
Anything that is illegal under the laws of Bangladesh.

8. Our role

We connect job seekers and companies. We are not the employer or a recruitment agency, and we don’t guarantee any job or hire.

We check every company’s details, but we can’t guarantee that everything in a profile or job offer is true. Please check for yourself before an interview or joining.

9. Suspending or closing accounts

If these terms are broken, we may hide a profile, or suspend or delete an account. Unless it’s serious, we’ll try to tell you first.

You can close your account at any time: contact us and we will delete your profile and files.

10. Limits of our responsibility

We work to keep the site available and secure, but interruptions can happen. As far as the law allows, JobersBD is not responsible for decisions, agreements or disputes between job seekers and companies.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms when needed. If we make a big change, we’ll tell you on the site or by email. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
